From time to time, Druid City Living likes to turn the spotlight on some of the local business leaders in our community. This month’s Business Spotlight is squarely on Raymond James Financial Advisor Michael Ford. Our sincere thanks to Mr. Ford for taking the time to answer our pressing questions, and for revealing some incredibly interesting things about himself. It is our hope that everyone in our community will get to know him just a little better.
Chris Lee is a recent President of the Tuscaloosa Association of Realtors and was the 2014 Tuscaloosa Realtor of the Year. This year, he took the helm as the President of the Multiple Listing Service for Tuscaloosa County.
James Bailey started studying martial arts seriously in 1978. Back then, it was mostly adults learning the fighting arts.
“When it started, 100% of the students were adults and the program was modeled after the Korean military,” Bailey said. “It was much more aggressive and there were no pads early on.”
On any given day, Dr. Katy Drain can be found busily caring for animals at her newly-opened Capstone Veterinary Hospital. Drain, who has worked as a veterinarian in Tuscaloosa for the past 15 years, is passionate about the pets she treats, and their owners.
“What drives me is my love for animals, the nurturing, love and compassion that I have for them,” Drain said. “Second is the science, and third is their owners and the relationship I have with them. I love that owners trust me.”
This week’s Druid City Living Business Spotlight is on DCH Health System Corporate Director of Marketing and Communication Brad Fisher. Our thanks to Mr. Fisher for taking the time to answer our questions, and for revealing some really interesting things about himself.
