The Junior League of Tuscaloosa (JLT) will host Dinner at Your Door on Thursday, October 4, 2018. This signature fundraiser allows community members to support their local Junior League through the purchase of a dinner for four donated by local restaurants and businesses.
The 16th annual Canine Classic 5K road race to benefit the Humane Society of West Alabama will be held on Saturday, Sept.15, at Kentuck Park.This is a major fundraiser for HSWA, a local non-profit that seeks to help area animals.

From the time he opened his first local Piggly Wiggly store in the area, in 1998, Welborn worked hard to grow his business, which now includes four of the family-owned grocery stores in Tuscaloosa and Northport.
The kids who choose to participate in the Tuscaloosa Kids Triathlon are making a huge impact on other children in need in the Tuscaloosa community. Hundreds of children are expected to swim, bike, and run to the finish line at Lake Lurleen State Park on May 19.
