The Historic Drish House, constructed in the 1800s, is well known for its distinctive architecture and legendary ghosts. But now, thanks to the tireless dedication of new owner Nika McCool and her expert restoration team, the mansion has transformed into one of Tuscaloosa's premier event venues.

On Saturday, May 14, the Drish House officially reopened its doors for a decadent inaugural event like no other. Locals Lindsey McCutchen and Bear Danford exchanged vows at their 1920s themed wedding, a celebration that could only be matched by the Great Gatsby himself.

Here’s a shout out to all of you parents who will now be spending basically every waking moment that you aren’t working or sleeping at the ballpark, cheering on your kids as they compete.
