UA to Hold Two-Day Equestrian Competition at River Oaks Farm Pam Poist

The University of Alabama’s equestrian team will host a two-day, 15-team  competition Saturday, March 3 and Sunday, March 4 at River Oaks Farm in Tuscaloosa.

UA will compete alongside schools such as the University of Mississippi, Auburn University, the University of Georgia and Judson College in flatwork and jumping in the Intercollegiate Horse Show Association (IHSA) event from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday

On Sunday, UA will host the IHSA regional competition that will feature flat work, jumping, horsemanship and reining.

Both competitions will be held at River Oaks Farm, 5500 Culver Road in Tuscaloosa. Parking and admission is free and open to the pubic.

The IHSA has over 412 colleges from across 39 regions in the United States involved in competing throughout the year.  It equates to over 10,000 riders.  The IHSA is open to men and women collegiate competitors.
