Alabama Crimson Tide vs Washington Huskies: Tale of the Tape (via Crimson Magazine)

While all of the festivities and fun of Christmas have now passed, fans of both the Alabama and Washington football teams are hoping for a big late holiday gift on New Year's Eve in Atlanta.

That being a Chick Fil A Peach Bowl victory at the Georgia Dome which will send their team to the College Football Playoff National Championship Game Jan. 9 in Tampa. And for the Crimson Tide that would mean the opportunity to play for the program's 17th national title, and second straight.

Although Nick Saban's 13-0 Crimson Tide team is currently a heavy favorite over Chris Petersen's 12-1 Huskies, both have compiled impressive seasons on the way to rolling to  Southeastern Conference and Pac 12 titles respectively.
