Seniors at Paul W. Bryant High School are still four months away from graduation, yet they’ve already been awarded more than $731,000 in scholarships for college.

Dr. Andrew Hugine, Jr., president of Alabama A&M University, presented the scholarships to almost 40 Bryant students during a ceremony on February 3.

 

The students who have already been awarded scholarships to Alabama A&M are: Asia Anthony, Christian Johnson, Kailyn Thomas, Destiny Wheat, Elyssa Beard, Raykenia Bowers, Rhianna Brown, Patrice Brown, Kiandria Cannon, Tradericka Chaney, Cedric Church, Lashambre Dockery, Chloe Edwards, Xavier Fields, Lizbeth Flores, Amanda Ford, LaTavious Glass, Theodore Glass, Jaida Hughes, Ambrian Hurry, Alexus Johnson, Kaylynn Little, Kelsey Merriweather, Brian Moore, Llyas Ross, Zainab Saleh, Keyshon Taggart, Jarvis Thomas, Derondrick Warner, Rajada Williams, Tikyrie Baker, Amber Blackmon, Rayshaun Bradley, Jr., Devin Fuller, Zane Samuel and Brett Toothman. Additional students may qualify for scholarships from Alabama A&M later this year.
