Holy Spirit Principal Delivers Caps, Gowns, and Yard Signs to 2020 Graduates Laurie Mitchell
For many seniors set to graduate from high school this spring, the milestone won't be marked in any traditional way. Educators throughout the state and nation are taking special steps to make certain that these students - and their accomplishments - aren't forgotten.
Senior high school students of Holy Spirit Catholic High School had Class of 2020 yard signs, certificates of academic and athletic achievement, and their caps and gowns delivered to their homes by Principal Jonathan Loper. Because the athletic and academic banquets and senior graduation have been cancelled due to the coronavirus pandemic, the items were delivered to the students through social distancing in order to congratulate them for their accomplishments.
