Local Students Gardening to Help the Community

Local Students Gardening to Help the Community Laurie Mitchell

Students from Holy Spirit Catholic School’s first grade class help with Jeremiah’s Community Garden at Catholic Social Services in Tuscaloosa located across from the school campus.

Students of the school are able to study plant life and help with harvesting vegetables and fruits grown to help serve the needy of the community. The school also offers an agricultural class as an elective on the high school level.

Students of that class work help to maintain the gardens.
