Sam Kornegay, a Junior at Holy Spirit Catholic High School, recently completed his Eagle Scout Service Project with the Boy Scouts of America - and it's a project that students and faculty at the local school will enjoy for years to come.

Kornegay built much needed sideline benches and equipment tables for the Holy Spirit School football and soccer field to serve the students and coaches there.

The project was made possible through donations by Harper Chambers Lumber Company, Southland Tube - a Nucor Company, Frances Poston, and Roasco Kornegay.  According to Kornegay, a total of 123 total hours were spent by those involved to complete the project.
