DCL Pet(s) of the Week: Meet Bitty and Sissy

DCL Pet(s) of the Week: Meet Bitty and Sissy Humane Society of West Alabama

If you're looking to make a big difference in the life of a cat, look no further than senior sisters Bitty and Sissy. They're the Humane Society of West Alabama's Pets of the Week. These two were featured not long ago, but they really need a happy, loving home together. Could that be yours?

These shy but exceptionally sweet 12 year-old siblings came to the HSWA when their owner's health declined. They're used to a nice quiet home with two other cats, so the HSWA would love to find something similar for them together. As you can see from the picture, they are very bonded with each other.

Sissy is very affectionate and loves to have her head rubbed. Bitty is more reserved, but will suddenly become your best friend if you offer her some wet food or treats. The girls love to have a little snack of Friskies wet food in the morning and a few treats as a bedtime snack. They were well loved and are currently in good health.

Both cats are Negative for FIV and FeLK, current on vaccinations, and spayed. As seniors, Bitty and Sissy benefit from the HSWA's reduced adoption rate of $25 per cat. Adoption fees help pay for a fraction of veterinary costs and general care expenses. All adopters must be approved before adoption. For more information on how to adopt them and to fill out the adoption application, please visit humanesocietyofwa.org or call 205-554-0011.
