DCL Pet of the Week: Meet Stormy

DCL Pet of the Week: Meet Stormy Wags to Riches Photography

Stormy is one of those cats that you will fall in love with instantly. This beautiful cat is the Humane Society of West Alabama’s Pet of the Week!

Even if you crouch down to pet Stormy, he will find a way to crawl into your lap! Unfortunately, due to his owner's poor health, he has been returned to The Humane Society. But he quickly became a volunteer favorite upon his return because he is one of those cats that is guaranteed to give you snuggles.

Stormy was a well-loved bachelor at his old home, so he's used to being someone's one and only. He would be happiest in a home without small children since he can be scared or nervous. But please don't let that hold you back or scare you off; we think once he's in a home that he feels comfortable in, he would finally fully relax and stop that behavior. He does well with kittens and female cats but would rather not be around any other alpha males.

Stormy comes with his very own carrier, crinkle tunnels, a large scratching post/cat tree, and many more toys. He does not like to be confined, so he is not recommended for someone who intends to travel with their cat frequently.

He is fully vetted, vaccinated, neutered, and negative for FIV/FeLk (adopters get a copy of his vet records). Stormy’s adoption fee is $75. If you're interested in adopting this house panther, please fill out the adoption application at humanesocietyofwa.org.
