“We are always searching for new ways to make the season merry and bright for our families, and TOP is so thankful to have this opportunity to work with JCPenney,” said Ashley Cornelius-Hester, Director of Communications at TOP.
Tuscaloosa’s One Place is a family resource center serving over 8,500 area residents each year. For the holiday season, TOP serves families in many ways, including providing meals or food and gift donations.
“JCPenney reached out to us with this opportunity, and we felt it was an excellent way to dignify our clients for the holidays,” said Kelsie Tibbetts, Volunteer Coordinator at TOP. “It is special for our families to be able to shop for their family, especially during the holiday season.”
You can make a huge difference for local children by donating new clothing items or gift cards. All additional donations collected on Friday will be matched with children who are still in need of clothing items. For more information about Tuscaloosa’s One Place, visit tuscaloosaoneplace.org.
