Tuscaloosa Bicentennial Commission Seeks Community Input for Time Capsule Featured

What was life like in Tuscaloosa during the year 2019? That’s the question the Tuscaloosa Bicentennial Commission is trying to answer, and they need the community's help.

A Time Capsule Committee has been formed, and the group would like to have your input for ways to represent life in Tuscaloosa during this bicentennial year. Tuscaloosa residents can make suggestions for topics to be covered and are also asked for items that would represent the subjects.

If you would like to add your suggestions to the committee’s list of ideas, please fill out the form here. You can also mail your suggestions to:

P.O. Box 3167

Tuscaloosa, AL 35403

Each serious suggestion will be taken into consideration, but there is no guarantee that it will be included. Deadline for submissions is Monday, Sept. 30. All items chosen to be included in the time capsule will be hermetically sealed during the city’s 200th birthday celebration on Dec. 13, 2019.
