Alabama State Senator Gerald Allen welcomes 16 high school students that are volunteering this summer at the VA Hospital in Tuscaloosa. The students attended the second annual Tuscaloosa Job Fair at the McDonald Hughes Community Center in Tuscaloosa on July 11. The students met with representatives from Hunt Refinery, Phifer Corporation, and many other companies. About 1000 job seekers and 65 employers attended the second annual job fair held in Tuscaloosa on July 11 at the McDonald Hughes Community Center. The job fair was sponsored by the Association of the U.S. Army, West/Central Alabama Chapter, the Tuscaloosa County Parks and Recreation Authority (PARA), and the Alabama Department of Labor.
