Evan has a beautiful deep red coat with white on his chest. Evan has cute beagle ears but a bobbed tail - such an interesting combination! He is slim and only weighs 29 pounds but will get a bit bigger, probably around 30-35 pounds when full grown.
Evan is a little skittish at first and will need some TLC and patience to help him gain his confidence with new situations. He just hasn't been socialized much it seems. He is very loving and sweet and enjoys being petted/ loved on.
Evan seems to be good with other dogs but would prefer not too high of energy ones. He should be good with children but older ones, 12 and up. Evan may do well in an apartment but he is a young dog that will need exercising. Evan will require a fenced in yard since the HSWA thinks he has some beagle in him and could too easily take off after a scent. We have started on his crate training.
