Brown was a contestant on this season’s The Bachelor, vying for the affections of Colton. She was sent home and tearfully said after the break-up, “I will not allow myself to not feel chosen every single day,” adding, “And I’ll wait till whenever that is.”
During The Women Tell All show, Brown told host Chris Harrison she’s ready to look for love again. “This experience, and the relationship I had with Colton allowed me to see myself in a different way and be vulnerable with who I am and who I want to be and what type of love I want to have and receive.”
Longtime watchers of the show suspected she would be a strong contender to be the next Bachelorette. Everyone was right. Rumors were rampant that Brown and Harrison were both in Tuscaloosa the weekend prior to the Bachelor finale’s airing, and some reports said Brown was filming around Bryant-Denny Stadium.
Brown, a Tuscaloosa County High School and University of Alabama graduate and a Miss Alabama USA 2018, will choose from eligible bachelors on the 15th season of The Bachelorette. Filming will begin in a matter of days and the new season debuts on Monday, May 13.
