DCL Pet of the Week: Meet Rudy

DCL Pet of the Week: Meet Rudy Humane Society of West Alabama
Say hi to Rudy, an 8-9 month old (as of 12/18), male German Shepherd mix. This gorgeous pup is this week's Humane Society of West Alabama's Pet of the Week!
Rudy looks like a mini German Shepherd, but there must be something in him that is keeping him small: a rat terrier perhaps? Rudy is lean and only weighs 24 pounds. He will get bigger, but the HSWA really doesn't think too much, probably up to around 30 to 35 pounds. Rudy has a smooth dark brown, tan and white coat.

Rudy is a super sweet, fun, loving dog. He is very friendly and social. Rudy is very smart and curious! He is still a puppy and will need training and structure to help him continue to develop into a well-mannered adult dog. Rudy seems to do well with other animals and should be fine with children 8 and up.

He may do OK in an apartment, but Rudy does have energy and will need daily exercise. Rudy will require a fenced in yard if left outside unattended.
Rudy has started his crate training. He is up to date on his vet care, neutered, heartworm negative, and is microchipped. He is on heartworm and flea/tick prevention.

What a unique looking dog with a great personality - what more could you want?
