Mary Poppins Jr. features an enchanting, irresistible story – with unforgettable songs and dance numbers. Based on one of the most popular Disney movies of all time, the jack-of-all trades, Bert, introduces us to England in 1910 and the troubled Banks family. Young Jane and Michael have sent many a nanny packing before Mary Poppins arrives on their doorstep.
Using a combination of magic and common sense, Mary Poppins must teach the family members how to value each other again. She takes the children on many magical and memorable adventures, but Jane and Michael aren't the only ones upon whom she has a profound effect. Even grown-ups can learn a lesson or two from the nanny who advises that "Anything can happen if you let it."
The show’s director, Drew Baker, says it’s going to be a really special evening.
“You do not want to miss this wonderful story performed by an incredibly talented cast,” she added.
This is the fall production for the Tuscaloosa Children’s Theatre – and a show for all ages (young and young at heart).
Ticket prices are $20 for premium seats, $15 for adults, and $10 for students, and they can be purchased at the box office one hour prior to each show, or online at tuscaloosachildrenstheatre.org.
