“Summer is a great time to have fun and get creative without the pressures of assigned school work. Kids can enjoy the Summer Reading Program and freely select the books that they want to read,” said Vince Bellofatto, TPL’s director of communications and public relations. “Plus, all programs are free.”
The 2018 Summer Reading Program is open to all individuals, preschool through adults, with programs, prizes, story times, and a reading club. The program’s calendar is packed with activities, including magic shows, music, science, storytelling, and animal shows.
The program is available at Tuscaloosa’s Main Library on Jack Warner Parkway, at the Weaver Bolden Branch on Lanier Avenue, and at the Brown Library Branch on Bobby Miller Parkway.
For specific activity dates and times, visit the TPL’s official website at www.tuscaloosa-library.org/summerreading, and for more information or questions, call (205) 345-5820.
