Humane Society’s Pet of the Week: Meet Tux

This lucky young man is Tux, appropriately named and formally dressed! He is the Humane Society of West Alabama's Pet of the Week.

Tux is a very handsome and sophisticated charmer, approximately 7 years old and 11 pounds. Tux was rescued after the 4-27-2011 tornado. He'd love to be your permanent escort anywhere - to greet you at the front door, he's more than ready to be your companion. Tux was diagnosed with inflammatory bowel disease and returned to the HSWA, but they now have him on medication and a special diet to alleviate the problem. Don't you want to give this sweet guy another chance at a forever home?

Mister Tux is negative for FIV and FeLK, neutered, and current on vaccinations. He is house trained and already neutered. Vet records will be provided to adopters. Please call 205-554-0011 or visit humanesocietyofwa.org to request an appointment to meet the available animals.
