At last week’s Exchange Club of Tuscaloosa meeting, held on Feb. 23, outstanding law enforcement officers from various agencies in the Tuscaloosa region were honored.

The award presentations were made by Exchange Club member and former Tuscaloosa Police Chief, Ken Swindle. The featured speaker was interim US Attorney for the Northern District of Alabama, Robert Posey.

The event was well-attended, including leaders of law enforcement agencies in the region and, also, many area judges. As President Jim Zeanah declared, “It looked like today we cleared the Bench!”

The Exchange Club’s Law Enforcement Day has been a continuing annual celebration since the 70s.
