Second Annual “Celebrate Local” Event Features Best of West Alabama Featured

The Chamber of Commerce of West Alabama will host the second annual Celebrate Local event at the Tuscaloosa River Market Thursday, June 13 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.

The event is free and open to the public. Featuring dozens of boutiques, retailers and vendors from across West Alabama, Celebrate Local showcases a wide range of products and services. Attendees can shop for a variety of items including clothing, jewelry, home décor, art, gifts and more. Several restaurants will also be on hand to offer samples of their most popular entrees.

“We’re fortunate to have a wide variety of retailers and boutiques in our community, and we’d like to invite everyone to come by and see what West Alabama has to offer,” said Kimberly Adams, Director of Membership and Investor Relations for the Chamber of Commerce of West Alabama.

Presented by Tuscaloosa Tourism & Sports, the event is a great way to also get more information about upcoming events.

“We are so happy to be partnering with incredible events like Celebrate Local,” TTS CEO & President Don Staley said. “Being able to push Druid City Music Festival’s message alongside the Chamber’s great local vendors is something that we are looking forward to!”

Attendees will receive a Celebrate Local tote at the door, which they can then use to visit vendor booths. Vendors have a variety of fun and useful swag and giveaway items for Celebrate Local attendees.
