Chamber to Host Northport Mayoral, Council Candidate Forums

The Chamber of Commerce of West Alabama will host a series of candidate forums for the upcoming Northport municipal elections. This event is free and open to the public.

Forums will be held in the Auditorium at the Northport Civic Center from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. The first half hour will be an informal meet & greet, followed by a moderated forum.

Mayoral & District 1 Candidates: Thursday, August 4th, 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Northport Civic Center

Districts 2, 3, 4 & 5 Candidates: Thursday, August 11th, 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Northport Civic Center

In a release, the Chamber said:

“We hope all candidates, Northport Chamber members and citizens alike can join us at one or both of these forums. Help spread the word on these forums, and remember to cast your vote on August 23rd.”
